JUDGE HOWARD MILLER, FORMER ASSOCIATE JUSTICE, APPELLATE DIVISION, SUPREME COURT, SECOND JUDICIAL DEPARTMENT, JOINS NAM'S NEW YORK METRO PANEL

Hon. Howard Miller

After having enjoyed an illustrious and distinguished 35 year career on the bench, Honorable Howard Miller announced today that he has joined NAM's New York panel of distinguished neutrals. Effective immediately, Judge Miller will be available to hear matters throughout the 5 boroughs, Long Island, Westchester and Rockland County.

Judge Miller stated, "This new assignment at NAM will allow me to continue my service to the community, while at the same time, afford me the opportunity to work in an area in which I deeply believe. Given the time delays and expenses related to traditional litigation, ADR is the most appropriate venue for most disputes. NAM has an exceptional reputation and I am pleased to be joining the firm."

Roy Israel, President and CEO of NAM stated, "Judge Miller joins us at a very exciting time. The company is experiencing unprecedented growth in the New York market and we are certain that his addition to our panel will be very well received. His extensive experience as an appellate court justice will be invaluable to those parties involved in commercial and other civil disputes that involve complex questions of fact and law. He has an exceptional reputation as a highly respected judge. We are delighted that he has decided to join our panel."

In recent years, Judge Miller has received awards from the Rockland County Bar Association, the Rockland County Woman's Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyers. Additionally, he was the Chair of the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board for three years, was a member of the New York State Law Guardian Committee and was the Co-Chair of the New York County Lawyers Association Task Force on Family Court.
