CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES NAMES NAM AS ITS ARBITRATION ADMINISTRATOR
Carnival Cruise Lines has named National Arbitration and Mediation, Inc. (NAM), one of the nation's leading dispute resolution providers, as its new arbitration administrator. Essentially, when passengers book a cruise, they agree to the terms of a Ticket Contract, which sets forth that that claims associated with the contract or cruise shall be resolved by arbitration.
Roy Israel, President & CEO stated, "NAM is pleased to be overseeing the administration of Carnival Cruise Line matters and we are looking forward to offering its passengers a fair, accessible and effective alternative to litigation. We expect that when disputes do occur, all parties will find this to be a fair, expedient and cost effective forum to resolve claims."
Complete details about NAM's arbitration procedures for Carnival Cruise Lines (including a downloadable copy of NAM's Comprehensive Rules and Procedures) are available on NAM's website at: www.namadr.com.
