NAM is pleased to announce that Hal Neier, Esq., has joined NAM's commercial division as a mediator/arbitrator in the NY Metro area. Mr. Neier is a longtime supporter and practitioner of Alternative Dispute Resolution. As a commercial litigator, he has handled a wide variety of matters including those in the areas of commercial, employment, intellectual property, professional malpractice and entertainment law. He has been an advocate in numerous arbitrations and mediations that involved legal claims which included breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, violations of restrictive covenants, wrongful termination, securities fraud, and trademark/copyright infringement. The respect that he has earned from his peers and colleagues is evidenced by his repeated nomination as a New York Super Lawyer.

Roy Israel, President and CEO of NAM, stated: "The commercial division is NAM’s fastest growing department. The types of individual cases and national programs that we are administrating require neutrals that are well versed in the subject matter and who have experience handling complex commercial matters. Hal has the ability to fairly assess a case from different viewpoints, as well as to effectively negotiate complex multi-party disputes. I am very pleased to include him as a member of NAM's nationally recognized roster of neutrals."

In addition to providing arbitration and mediation services at NAM, Mr. Neier is a partner for the NY law firm Friedman Kaplan Seiler & Adelman LLP.
