Hon. John DiBlasi Hon. John DiBlasi has been invited to participate in the New York State Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section Annual Meeting CLE seminar. The program, entitled “Deconstructing ADR: Though ADR is Thriving, Can We Do Better?”, will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the New York Hilton Midtown, 1335 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY.

Judge DiBlasi will participate in a panel discussion that will focus on mediation and will address issues related to the use of joint sessions, caucuses and current practices and trends relating to arbitration and mediation.

For the second year in a row, Judge DiBlasi has been ranked the #1 mediator in the United States by the National Law Journal Reader Rankings Survey. In addition to being ranked #1 nationally, Judge DiBlasi has been rated a Top 5 Mediator in New York State by the New York Law Journal’s Annual Survey for six consecutive years. He has also been voted “Best International Mediator” and “Best Financial Markets Mediator”, and has been ranked one of the top arbitrators in New York State in the “Best Individual Arbitrator” category. He holds an AV Preeminent peer rating from Martindale-Hubbell in both Alternative Dispute Resolution and Litigation – a distinction given only to those who possess the highest ethical standards and professional ability.

Judge DiBlasi is the former presiding Justice of the Commercial Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Westchester County, and creator of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program used successfully by that court. He has mediated over 3,000 cases and his ADR practice centers on resolving Commercial, International, Finance, Employment, Entertainment, Land Use, and Professional Malpractice matters. Judge DiBlasi hears cases throughout New York State, the United States and internationally.
