NAM is pleased to announce the addition of Hon. Michael A. Ciaffa, former Nassau District Court Judge, to its New York Panel of Neutrals.
Judge Ciaffa has had a long and distinguished legal career spanning over 35 years. He was elected to the District Court of Nassau County in 2008 where he presided over thousands of no-fault disputes and other civil matters. During his six years on the bench he has rendered decisions on a wide range of no-fault issues including medical necessity, claim verification, fraudulent incorporation, regulatory time-tables, policy conditions, notice requirements, staged accidents, expert qualifications, burden shifting and applicable fee schedules.
