Roy Israel, NAM’s President and CEO, was named an Alternative Dispute Resolution Champion in The National Law Journal & Legal Times. Only 48 ADR Champions were selected from nominations made throughout the United States. Those who were chosen have distinguished themselves in the field of arbitration and mediation, each having an abiding passion and deep commitment to the practice of ADR along with a remarkable track record of success. Mr. Israel was recognized for his vision, and the expertise that NAM has developed over the years in customizing and implementing highly complex employment and commercial corporate resolution initiatives, which was vitally important to the growth and acceptance of ADR.
Roy Israel is the founder of NAM, which has been providing Alternative Dispute Resolution Services since 1992. He has distinguished himself as an advocator and innovator in the field of ADR. Under his direction, NAM has been voted one of the Top 2 ADR firms in the United States for the past two years in the National Law Journal, and has been named the #1 ADR Provider by the New York Law Journal Reader Rankings Survey for the last five years (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015). NAM has also been the recipient of the ADR Provider of the Year award from the American College of Civil Trial Mediators and has been rated as one of Long Island’s Top 100 Companies.
Mr. Israel has been a featured expert on the subject of ADR on ABC World News, Fox Network News, Court TV, CNBC, Channel 5 New York, and Bloomberg Radio. Additionally, he has been quoted, or the company has been mentioned, in more than 150 various Associated Press articles nationwide, as well as in Newsday, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Business Week, NY Daily News, New York Law Journal, USA Today, New York Post, Treasury & Risk Management, Insurance Advocate, Claims Magazine, and numerous other publications.
Additionally, 7 of NAM’s Neutrals were also selected as Alternative Dispute Resolution Champions in The National Law Journal & Legal Times. Those honorees are Robert Adams, Esq., Richard Byrne, Esq., Hon. John P. DiBlasi, Hon. Jerome C. Gorski, Kenneth Grundstein, Esq., Susan Hernandez, Esq. and Hon. Ira B. Warshawsky.
