NAM PROVES THE EFFICACY OF ITS NEW NO-FAULT PROGRAM
NAM is pleased to announce that the piloting of its New York No-Fault arbitration program has been a huge success. Early statistics indicate that hearings have been held within 35 days after the parties agree to arbitrate and decisions have been submitted to the parties on an average of 10 days after the hearing. Further, NAM filings have facilitated the settlement of numerous cases. With interest building from both applicants and respondents, NAM looks forward to further serving the legal community by reducing costs for insurers and providing a swift, and cost-effective claim resolution process for the applicants.
Roy Israel, President and CEO of NAM stated: “The program is progressing just like we envisioned it. Insurers and claimants are getting the expeditious platform they need to resolve claims, and feedback so far has been excellent.”
