Susan Hernandez, Esq. NAM is extremely proud to announce that Susan Hernandez, Esq. was honored by the Institute of Jewish Humanities at its Thirty-Sixth Annual Testimonial Dinner which was held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Museum of Jewish Heritage at 36 Battery Place, New York, NY. Ms. Hernandez received the Institute’s prestigious “Mediator of the Year Award” in recognition of her distinguished career as a mediator and as a longtime proponent of Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Ms. Hernandez has mediated matters involving numerous areas of the law including contracts, discrimination, employment, personal injury, real property/partition, and sexual harassment. She has handled cases ranging in values including a vast number of complex high stakes matters. Prior to joining NAM, she led the Mediation Pilot Program in the Bronx Supreme Court, administered by the Appellate Division, First Department. As the Mediation Coordinator she resolved well over 1,000 cases. Susan Hernandez was voted one of the Top Ten Mediators in New York State by the 2015 New York Law Journal Reader Rankings Survey.
