NAM is pleased to announce the addition of Susan Hernandez, Esq. to its New York panel of neutrals. She will begin hearing cases at NAM in  September, 2014.

Susan Hernandez joins NAM after an illustrious legal career in private practice and most recently, as the Mediation Coordinator in the Supreme Court, Bronx County.  In 2012, Ms. Hernandez was appointed to spearhead the Mediation Pilot Program in Bronx Supreme Court which is administered by the Appellate Division, First Dept. and the Bronx County Supreme Court. 

As the Mediation Coordinator, she mediates multiple cases each day and has resolved and/or disposed of over 1300 cases in the past year.  As Mediation Coordinator, she handles a full calendar and has settled both small value cases and multi-million dollar disputes.  In addition to personal injury cases, she has experience mediating disputes involving real property/partition, contracts, employment, discrimination, and sexual harassment matters.  Ms. Hernandez approaches each case with a  view towards resolution.   Prior to being appointed as the Mediation Coordinator in June, 2012, she served as the Chief of Staff to the Presiding Justice of the Supreme Court, Bronx County.
