NAM ANNOUNCES MAJOR PERSONAL INJURY SETTLEMENT INITIATIVE

NAM invites all claims personnel and plaintiff firms to participate in what will likely be NAM's largest volume, single-day settlement initiative in the first quarter of 2011. NAM will be making available many of New York's top-rated Mediators to facilitate the resolution of a significant number of claims. In the fourth quarter of 2010, a dozen carriers participated in this type of event. In addition to more than 30 plaintiff firms, the company expects even greater carrier participation for their March 2011 Mediation Day. This is an excellent opportunity for program participants to settle cases with several carriers and multiple firms in one day and at one location.

Thus far, participating carriers will be: Seneca, Zurich, Nationwide, ELCO, Gallagher Basset, GAB Robbins/GB, Liberty, Lancer, York, Utica First, Farmers/21st Century and Travelers.

NAM, New York's premier ADR Administrator, will be coordinating the event and providing its services in an effort to facilitate a high number of case settlements.
