SENIOR COURT MEDIATOR, SHELLEY ROSSOFF OLSEN, ESQ. JOINS NAM'S NY METRO PANEL
Shelley Rossoff Olsen, Esq. Senior Court Mediator and Summary Trial Judge in the New York Supreme Court, Civil Division, announced today that she has joined National Arbitration and Mediation, Inc. (NAM) exclusively as a full-time Hearing Officer. Ms. Olsen will be available to mediate and arbitrate cases throughout the NY Metro area as of February 1, 2010. Her expertise is in the areas of complex commercial, medical malpractice, personal injury, employment, insurance, construction and labor law.
“Shelley is a seasoned ADR professional with an exceptional reputation for being a key player in resolving disputes in the NY Supreme Court's Neutral Evaluation Program,” said Roy Israel, President & CEO of NAM. “Her legal background and mediation expertise will prove to make her a strong addition to NAM's New York panel. Prior to her service as a Senior Court Mediator and Summary Trial Judge, Ms. Olsen developed her extensive civil law background by representing both plaintiffs and defendants, through her work at three prominent New York City law firms. During this time, she co-chaired the Medical Malpractice Committee of the New York County Lawyers' Association. She then rounded out her experience by joining the Appellate Division, First Department, where she was a principal court attorney for over five years. Ms. Olsen also serves on the Court's Tort Advisory Committee, and is a member of the New York City Bar's Tort Litigation Committee.
