Luke M. Pittoni, Esq. is an experienced and skilled litigator with a long and distinguished career that spans
over forty years. Most of his career has been dedicated to the handling of medical malpractice and medical
products liability matters the majority of which were complex and high exposure cases. He has regularly
appeared in courts throughout all five boroughs of New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, Rockland and Dutchess
counties, the Eastern and Southern District of Federal Court and State Court in Connecticut.
Luke Pittoni’s reputation precedes him. Well known and respected throughout the legal community by both plaintiff and defense attorneys alike, he has also developed a positive working relationship with both sides of the bar as well as members of the medical profession and insurance carriers. He has authored numerous articles about medical malpractice litigation, as well as publications dealing with the use of technology in the courtroom. He is a former editor of Product Liability Law and Strategy and has also lectured across the country on various topics relating to health care law and trial advocacy.

He was voted as one of the top 20 Medical Malpractice Defense Lawyers in America in a poll of plaintiffs’ and defense lawyers by Medical Economics.
