New York, NY (August 14, 2019) – NAM (National Arbitration and Mediation), one of the nation’s leading providers of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services, is proud to support the 2019 SunriseWALKS Long Island fundraising event, with proceeds benefitting the organization’s Sunrise Association Day Camps. SunriseWALKS raises funds to give summer back to children with cancer by supporting the world’s only free full-summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings. This year, the SunriseWALKS Long Island event exceeded its goal and raised over $1 million.
Since 2006, Sunrise Association Day Camps has been providing memorable summers for children ages from 3 ½ – 18 and brings the simple pleasures of childhood back to children struggling with pediatric cancer, changing months of loneliness and isolation into summer filled with sunshine, laughter and happiness. And because they are day camps, it allows children to continue their medical treatment and enjoy the comfort and safety of their own homes at night. In all, there are 8 Day Camps located in New York, Maryland, Georgia and Israel. The camps are affiliated with over 38 renowned hospitals and medical centers around the world.
