George Freitag, Esq. has been practicing law for 30 years and is a seasoned litigator who has regularly appeared in all courtrooms in New York City, as well as Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties. Since joining NAM in 2016, Mr. Freitag has heard thousands of cases including automobile accidents, labor law, personal injury, premises liability, and insurance related matters such as subrogation and SUM/UM cases. He has extensive litigation experience and has handled personal injury, labor law, medical malpractice, wrongful death, trusts and estates, and real estate matters. Mr. Freitag is well known for his zealous advocacy on behalf of his clients and is highly respected by both defense and plaintiff attorneys alike.

As an attorney, Mr. Freitag has frequently served as a mediator and arbitrator in thousands of cases involving complex litigation and catastrophic personal injuries. He has garnered a reputation for his fair valuation of claims and is dedicated in his effo rt to assist parties in moving cases toward resolution.

Mr. Freitag’s reputation, integrity, and service have led to numerous appointments by the Surrogate and State Supreme Courts to positions of fiduciary responsibility wherein he has represented the needs of those unable to represent themselves. In 2024, Mr. Freitag was voted a Top Ten Arbitrator for the eighth year in a row by the New York Law Journal “Best Of” survey. He is a past recipient of the “Advocate of the Year Award” by the Institute of Jewish Humanities for his dedication to the community and the legal professi on. Additionally, Mr. Freitag is a Board Member and past President of the venerable Emerald Association of Long Island, a charitable organization dedicated to the purpose of raising funds for the care, maintenance, and education of dependent children.
