Judge Warshawsky writes that over the past month, there have been numerous occasions where many of us wanted to "stop the world" as COVID-19 has brought United States to a virtual standstill. He states "markets plunged, the world of sports was put on hold and our country struggled to come to terms with a combination of threats (health, social and economic) that most of us have never witnessed in our lifetimes."

Topics will include ethical issues and guidelines for both the participant and the mediator; ensuring security so as to preserve privacy and confidentiality; conducting the arbitration and mediation through the use of technology; conquering fears associated with its technical aspects, and the benefits of the technology for the ADR process in the face of COVID-19 and beyond.

We wanted to let you know that NAM has implemented yet another round of security measures. NAM’s customized videoconference technology through Zoom now meets or exceeds the privacy and security specifications provided by The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
